Curious about Tom’s comment: “we [the U.S.] have one of the worst health care systems in the developed world.” My opinion may be skewed by right leaning patriotism, but my understanding has been that, except for cost, ours is toward the top of health care systems. It’s sad that some are ruined financially when a health disaster strikes, but the productivity and innovation coming out of our healthcare system benefits the world. Or am I simply drinking right wing kool aid?
